Buying Infomercial Products Online

I just had to pass this story along since with today's economy I couldn't believe this lady didn't care how much she spent.
I was in line at the grocery store today and happened to look over at the end cap display a few aisles over. The latest as seen on TV product had hit store shelves, the Snuggie Blanket. You know, the fleece blanket with sleeves? I chuckled and shook my head.
That's when the lady in line behind me went running over and grabbed 2 of them!
When she came back I asked "how much are they?"
She replied with a smile (like she had just found the greatest deal on Earth) "Only $15.99 each!"
As I had just completed an article about the advantages of buying as seen on TV and infomercial products online Vs. the local retailer, I told her that she could get the exact same blankets online for only $19.99 and that she would get 2 for that price.
She looked at me, shrugged and said "That's ok, I don't really care, I want these now."

Folks, I live in the South. It's not going to get that cold here that waiting a week for shipping would make any difference. If you are considering getting the Snuggie blanket, (and when you order online you can get kids sizes, designer patterns, college team logos, dog snuggies and more that you can't get in the stores) save yourself some money and order online.
